Welcome to Agaia Online Patch 1.3.2. In this update, we are bringing into the server the long waited Withering Dreadspire, as well as Winter Events.

Events

Wintera Snowfield

  • Wintera Snowfield is now available in the Battleground Matchmaking window!
  • Compete in the Wintera Snowfield and obtain Polar Snowflakes, which can be exchanged through Jingles, in Highwatch, for various rewards, such as...

Santa Hunt Event

  • Hunt down Santas across the world (with the exception of Balderon, Velika, Kaiator and Allemantheia) and obtain various rewards

Fishing Event

  • Celsian Fishery in Bleakrock is now available for a limited time! Obtain Event Fishing Baits by hunting Santas around the world and use them in the Celsian Fishery to obtain Polar Snowflakes

Dungeon Changes

Low and Mid Tier dungeons

As the gear patch is progressing we are slowly moving up the gearing curve to be faster so people can catch up more easily as well as gear up their alts more easily

  • Increased loot drop of gear enchant materials in low tier dungeons by 100%
  • Increased loot drop of gear enchant materials in mid tier dungeons by 50%

Bahaar's Sanctum

After the HP reduction from last patch, the fight time became a bit too short and felt very discouraging for some classes. We are going to give a bit more durability to Bahaar to accomodate for this issue

  • Increased Bahaar's HP by 6%

Sanctum of the Fire God

After the adjustments applied to High Tier dungeons, Bahaar Hard Mode fell off players preference due the rewards not matching the significantly longer fight time. We adjusted the loot of the dungeon to feel more rewarding and worth of your time

  • Doubled the amount of Sovereign Gear enchanting materials
  • Greatly increased amount of Elder's Gems, Elder's Relics/Halidoms and Reroll Scrolls obtainable

Withering Dreadspire

Dreadspire is finally here! This is a rework of the Cruel Dreadspire released during Apex Patch in retail, with a couple of adjustments.

  • Withering Dreadspire is now available and accessible 10 times per day
  • The dungeon no longer fully resets on a wipe: you can retry the boss you failed to defeat without having to restart the dungeon
  • The Jesters are untargetable and unhittable
  • The amount of floors has been reduced from 10 to 5
    • Floor 1: Withered Krakatox
    • Floor 2: Withered Lakan
    • Floor 3: Withered Lokmar Sorgalur
    • Floor 4: Withered Darkan
    • Floor 5: Withered Shandra Manaya
      • Shandra Manaya frontal hitbox was adjusted to prevent the tank from rubberbanding while attacking, and her walk will now be performed at 8% rather than 5%
  • You can obtain Storm Skill: Mighty Shandra Manaya as a Permanent or 3 days version upon defeating Withered Shandra Manaya. This mount provides a new 60% crit power passive, not stackable with the currently existing 50% ones.
    • The 3 days version is also obtainable from every boss, but at a lower rate.
  • Its leaderboard will now decide the statues in Highwatch

Class Changes

In this update we are going to fix some outliers from the previous patch, aswell as applying some adjustments based on community feedbacks

Archer

We recently received some feedbacks about the Quickfire build: despite the build being competitive in long fight times, it does not feel good to play for the players that are interested into it, which are mostly playing in shorter fight times. While we want to keep its identity of a scaling build, we are going to lower some its late game power in favor of more early game strength, aswell as reworking Vulnerable Shot, which is still struggling to find a place in the meta due to overwhelming dominance of Deadeye Focus

Quickfire

  • Reduced max stacks from 150 to 54
  • Increased damage per stack from 0.8% to 1.67%
  • Increased Crit Chance from +30% to +50%

Vulnerable Shot

  • [Reworked] Penetrating Arrow charge speed increased by 30%, damage reduced by 15% but it scales with target missing health, up to 78%. On a successful hit reduces cooldown of Radiant Arrow by 1 second. This talisman effect does not stack with Silent Wind.

Berserker

The new Iron Pact playstyle has, surprisingly, proved to be stronger than we intended. We are going to tune it down a bit, aswell as the class PvP strength. Regarding the Counterforce playstyle, we are going to speed up its stacking speed to make it more viable.

Iron Pact

  • The Thunder Strike damage malus has been increased from 5% to 15%
  • Now also reduces Cyclone damage by an additional 10% during Rage Unbound

Overcharged Blow

  • This talisman effect no longer stacks with Persistent Sweeping Strike Glyph

Counterforce

  • Reduced max stacks from 99 to 66
    • For Long Forgotten Dream, max stacks is reduced from 60 to 40
  • Increased stacks strength from 3% to 4.5%

Triumphant Shout

  • It will now not be overwritten by Unleash Anti-CC buff

[PvP] Bloodlust (Charisma)

  • Reduced PvP damage buff from 25% to 20%

[PvP] Cyclone

  • Reduced PvP damage by 5%

Brawler

Brawler tank has not been in a good spot lately. We are going to give them a bit more power

Global

  • Increased overall damage while tanking by 7%

Gunner

After the recent fix to the talisman, Triple Roll became a tad stronger than we intended it to be. We are going to tune it down.

Triple Roll

  • Reduced damage bonus from 5% per stack to 3.5%
    • Note: the talisman tooltips was previously incorrect, stating an increase in damage of 4% per stack

Mystic

Some time ago, we released a talisman for Corruption Ring which has not seen much usage by the community. We decided to rework the talisman into something more unique, which will hopefully match the fantasy of community of a more utility skill rather than defensive.

Blessed Zone

  • [Reworked] No longer requires charging, but its base cooldown is increased to 20 seconds. Restores 25% of all targets MP and heals all targets inside the aoe, increases their healing received by 10% for a few seconds. Healing of Boomerang Pulse, Thrall of Life and Titanic Favor are reduced by respectively 20%, 15% and 10%. This talisman effect does not stack with Flicker of Grace and disables Persistent Thrall of Life Glyph

Ninja

Despite rocking some decent scores, the average performance of the class in most of the dungeons is not the greatest outside of "padded runs". While we were considering a small buff at first, we decided to hold into it and see how the class performs after the nerfs applied to the stronger classes. For this update we will apply some QoL adjustments.

Focus

  • Greatly reduced buff application time post cast
  • The skill animation can now be canceled by any skill or by simply walking after 500ms

Cyclic Chi

  • The buff is re-applied at the end of Inner Harmony

Priest

Despite the balance between Priest vs Mystic being alright, and mostly dependant on kill-time, Priest is required to play with Amplification Holy Burst to be able to compete. As we don't have a real answer to this issue at the moment, we are going to boost the damage of Blessing Holy Burst to match Amplification for now. Both Amplification ADVs on both healers will be reworked in a future patch.

  • Increased base damage to match Amplification ADV

Insighted Guardian

  • Now also restores 1.4k MP on cast

Reaper

After the adjustments of previous patch, Recall Scythes started suffering from self canceling issues, due to the nature of the new chain system. We are going to fix this issue, aswell as simplifying the usage of the skill by making it not cancellable before the hit actually lands. We are also going to slightly reduce the mana cost of some skills, as the class still suffers a lot in average parties. Lastly, we are going to rework Double Slash into a counterpart talisman to Pendulum's Rage, as Whipsaw rotation is still very strong, has no alternatives and is harder to play for the average players. We are aware some players would prefer a Sundering Strike based playstyle by including its bloodlust effect, but our goal currently is to make the class more approachable by new players.

Global

  • Reduced damage by 2.5%

Recall Scythes

  • Fixed an issue where it was possible to cancel the skill with its own cast
  • It can no longer be canceled by any skill (aside from Retribution) before the skill hits the target

Shadow Reaping

  • Reduced activation mana cost from 500 to 100

Shrouded Escape

  • Reduced activation mana cost from 500 to 100

Grim Strike

  • Reduced mana cost from 200 to 100

Binding Scythes

  • Reduced mana cost from 700 to 200

Reaping Fury

  • The reset effect is now applied on hit rather than on cast
  • Shadow Burst damage increased from 7.5% to 15%

Double Slash

  • [Reworked] Sundering Power
  • Enhanced Sundering Strike base damage is increased by 50%, but no longer scales with target missing health. This talisman effect does not stack with Pendulum's Rage

Slayer

Slayer doesn't seem to be performing that well since a couple of patches. We are going to give them a good boost in damage, aswell as improving the Overpower toggle, similarly to Ninja Focus.

Global

  • Increased damage by 4%

Overpower

  • Greatly reduced buff application time post cast
  • The skill animation can now be canceled by any skill or by simply walking after 500ms

Sorcerer

  • Recently, sorcerer community has shown their frustration about some main points of their class: crit inconsistancy, burn sync and alternative playstyles. While we have taken care of crit inconsistancy on the last update for the most part, we are going to apply some adjustments to allow players to sync their burn better with tank buffs (if they desire to) through a reworked skill advanced. We also adjusted some talismans to allow more build variety and bring back the alternative playstyles which fell off the meta overtime.

Mana Boost (Inner Peace ADV)

  • [Reworked] Renamed to Bloodthirsty. Now grants all the effects of Mysterious ADV, increases cooldown by 15% but also increases skill damage by an additional 7.5%

Pillar of Flames

  • Propulsion effect changed from 0.18s on every hit to 1.2 seconds on any hit (once per cast)
  • Increased crit chance from 50% to 70%
  • Now also increases Fire Attribute skills damage by 6.5%
  • Fixed visual effect to properly match the range buff
  • No longer stacks with Celestial Impact

Fiery Awakening

  • No longer buffs Nova damage
  • Now increases, passively, Fire damage by an additional 6.5%
  • No longer stacks with Frozen Resonance and Barrage of Flames

Barrage of Flames

  • Increased crit chance from 40% to 90%
  • Reduced fire damage buff from 10% to 9%
  • No longer stacks with Fiery Awakening and Frozen Resonance
  • Can now stack with Blazing Force

Tactical Warp

  • Fixed an issue where the talisman would state, incorrectly, that the cooldown of Warp Barrier was increased

Valkyrie

Recently, Valkyrie community has submitted various feedbacks regarding their class being forced to an awkward and unfun rotation to deal damage. We are going to apply various adjustments based on their feedbacks and hopefully fix the issues pointed out by the community

Global

  • Increased damage by 2%

Piercing Bite

  • Reduced damage from 125% to 90%
  • Reduced ragnarok cost from 50 to 30

Glaive Continuum

  • The talisman effect now applies only on the second hit of Shining Crescent

Leaping Bash

  • Increased damage by an additional 20%

Leaping Strike

  • Increased damage by an additional 20%

Specialized Bash

  • Increased damage by an additional 20%

Titansbane

Regarding Titansbane, we received some feedbacks regarding the skill being hard to use at high ping, aswell as it being too toxic in PvP content, after the increase on skill speed applied some time ago. We are going to adjust it, bringing it to a healthier level, which should also fix the annoying bugs related to incorrect Ragnarok generation.

  • Reduced skill speed from +300% to +30%
  • Focus ADV now restores 1k Ragnarok points upon hitting a monster

Warrior

After a long time, Warrior is finally in a fine spot DPS wise. We are going to apply a few QoL adjustments, which should also provide a very small boost to their damage

Torrent of Blows

  • Reduced mana cost from 300 to 150

Unleashed Frenzy

  • Increased stacks duration from 24 seconds to 48
  • Increased max stacks from 16 to 24

Island of Dawn Changes

  • Greatly increased LOW tier material drops
  • Added MID tier enchanting materials as drop from all monsters and bosses

Gear Fixes

Despite our efforts to manually fix the gear, the enchantment lines bug still occours upon gear upgrade. We applied a different adjustment which will prevent the bug to happen. Whoever still has any piece of gear with a wrong enchantment line can use Gear Morpher, purchasable from Magic Supply store to fix it.

  • Every new gear piece generated will now be wrapped in enigma
  • Updated Gear Morpher on Magic Supply store to wrap gear into enigma
    • Players that have their gear bugged can use this morpher to fix it by themself

Other Changes

  • Increased channels of Guardian Mission areas to 2
  • Increased Fish Salad duration from 5 to 10 minutes and effect from 5% to 10%
  • Kamaboko now also grants 10% fishing waiting time
