Version 1.5 - Agaia Patch 1.5

Version: 1.5 Released: 6 June 2026

Agaia Patch 1.5

Welcome to Agaia Online Patch 1.5. It has been a rough time out here... In this update we are going to bring a new fresh content into the server, but before getting started with the update notes, there are a couple of points we need to clarify.

State of the Server

In the past months, the server population has decreased drastically. We know our decision making in term of content designing has not been great the last last updates and the players expected more from our side. We deeply apoligize for this and we hope to stand more to your expectations, not just for this update, but also in the future ones.

State of Communications & Updates

In these past months, we have been quite silent overall and no significant update has been made to the server, to a point players tought we have given up on it. To clarify, we are totally not given up on the server but, unfortunately, we are currently going through a rough time internally, and most of the team has not been able to dedicate enough time into this project. While we are doing our best to improve our communication with the playerbase, for now the updates are going to be slower, as currently there is just one active developer able to put their time and effort into bringing updates to the community, and we surely do not want to get them burnt out.

A few words from our developer

Hello everyone, Shira writing here! As previously mentioned, we are going through a rough period internally, with our staff members being very busy with IRL matters. I myself also don't have as much time as I used to anymore, as you probably noticed from the less class changes adjustments from the last months, but I'm still trying to dedicate as much of my free time as possible on this project. This update has been designed, developed and tested by me for the most part. It is not an easy step to test alone: while I did my best in double checking everything, there is a chance I could have miss something. In that case, please let me know, either in private or by opening a post on #bug-reports in discord. There was much more I would have like to bring in this patch, but I also did not want to delay it any longer than I already did.

About the 1.5 Update

This update aims at fixing most of the issues pointed out by our community in the past months, while also bringing new content into the game. While it is true that a good part of them could have been fixed earlier, it was not possible by us to bring them earlier than this, as most of the issues were bound to the systems introduced in the earlier patches, and it was necessary to get rid of them. With this said, lets get ourself started!

PvE Equipment & Gearing

Our previous gearing system did not quite satisfy our playerbase: the gear was too grindy, making gearing alts nearly impossible, the upgrades not noticeable enough and the amount of materials required for enchanting was excessive, often leaving an incredible amount of materials leftover in players banks. On top of that, a bug missed during testing phase turned into various players to obtain stats that they should have not have on their equipment. While this bug was identified and fixed somewhat quickly, some players still retained these bugged stats to this day. This new gear aims at fixing all these issues, while also bringing some new interesting mechanics into it.

  • An new gear set has been released: Eclipse Gear
    • This gear is upgradable from Sovereign +9
      • Sovereign Gear has been downgraded into a "Starters Gear": all new players will start the game from this point
      • Sovereign Gear can now be enchanted by using Sovereign Alkahests
    • This gear set is enchantable up to +15
      • Upon reaching +15, the gear can be liberated
        • It is possible to obtain Liberation Scrolls from Top and EX tier dungeons
    • This gear set has selectable enchant rolls, including a "specific skill class" toproll
      • The specific skill class toproll is available even at +0
    • This gear set retains most of the Sovereign Gear specific stats, aside the 1% increased skill damage on +7 weapons
    • This gear set has an higher increase of damage dealt against enraged monsters

Dungeon Changes

Aside from our latest releases, most of the dungeons will close their doors to give room to new ones. In the last progression system, players voiced their opinions about dungeons accessibility and variety, so we prepared a way bigger dungeons pool for every tier. We also reviewed the dungeons HP pool, mostly for entry tier, low tier and exalted tier, as many players did not find enjoyable fighting large HP pool bosses in these tiers. While our developer tried their best to math out reasonable dungeons HP pools, it is not exactly easy to get the perfect values. As this is a massive dynamic progression shift, bosses HP pools will be closely monitored during the first week based on community clear times and adjusted in a follow up hot-fix maintenance

Entry Tier (Enchanting Sovereign Gear from +0 to +9 and upgrading into Eclipse)

  • Kezzel's Gorge
  • Ravenous Gorge
  • Forsaken Island (Normal)

Low Tier (Enchanting Eclipse Gear from +0 to +6)

  • Broken Prison
  • Shadow Sanguinary (Normal)
  • Timescape (Normal)
  • Killing Grounds (Normal)

Mid Tier (Enchanting Eclipse Gear from +7 to +12)

  • Forsaken Island (Hard)
  • Manglemire
  • Timescape (Hard)
  • Shadow Sanguinary (Hard)

High Tier (Enchanting Eclipse Gear from +13 to +15)

  • Crimson Killing Grounds
  • Antaroth Abyss (Hard)
  • The Plexus (Hard)
  • The Abscess (Hard)

Exalted Tier (Special loot)

This tier is reserved for endgame players which are interested in more challenging content, and it includes Sanctum of the Fire God and Corrupted RK-9.

  • Corrupted RK-9
  • Sanctum of the Fire God

About Sanctum of the Fire God

We received a lot of negative feedbacks about Sanctum of the Fire God back then, and for this reason our developer decided to rework the dungeon. The first version of the Sanctum had various issues that endgame players pointed out such as:

  • The laser starting from 90% was extremely toxic
  • The skeletons spawning on players death was punishing other party members in a very annoying way, such as when a player dies during waves and the skeleton body blocks other players
  • The dungeon did not have a real DPS-Check, leading to various players to obtain "unearned clears" with excessive fight time and an incredible amount of deaths
  • The dungeon itself had a very long fight time

The goal of this rework is to fix all of these issues and to bring our players a new and refreshing fight, while also not getting too far from the general Bahaar fight. While we would like to not share any particular detail about the rework, you can contact our developer @Shira in discord, and they may give you some hints regarding it

We also made sure to make the dungeon rewarding: it will be possible to obtain, for example, two different types of Bahaar Hammers, which will enhance your weapons by making them empower your Crit Power Dragon passives in two different ways.

The Plexus (Hard) & Antaroth's Abyss (Hard)

  • The dots in the dungeons no longer turn players HP bars to purple

Leaderboards

In the last months, we had an excessive amount of dungeons being set as leaderboard competition. In this update, we are going to reduce them to include only Top and EX tier dungeons. Their rewards were also increased

Class Changes

While most of the efforts were put into content designing and development, we have some class changes ready for our players. We are also binding a few adjustments to the chest toprolls for some classes that we believe needed something particular. Lastly, since a while ago we made Gunners able to proc their attack speed glyph by using their self buff, we are extending this to some other notorious speed glyph class users.

All Classes

By taking in consideration the fact we wish to make dragon passives more relevant for endgame players, we decided to apply a crucial adjustment to the Dragon Procs system. While in past we did not believe it was necessary, with drakes becoming more important, we think it's now time to apply this long asked adjustment.

  • Crit Power passives now have 100% proc chance and will only apply during every class self buff. The minimum cooldown is still set to 60 seconds
    • Some exceptions have been made for the following
      • Ninjas will be able to proc it also after using Fire Avalanche
      • Berserker Tanks will be able to proc it also after using Fiery Rage

Archer

Archer was one of the classes that was struggleing to sync their burn with Brawler and Warrior tanks, due to their Windsong cooldown unable to get lower than 68 seconds cooldown. In this update, Archer players will be able to pick a top roll on their chest which reduces their burn cooldown, effectively turning them into a 60 seconds burn class if they desire to.

Windsong

  • Archers are now able to pick a 10% Windsong CDR top-roll on Eclipse Armor

Brawler

Some time ago, we received a report about Quickpunch speed effect interacting weirdly with Ping Remover towards the end of the effect. As it does not seem possible to fix it through emulation, we applied an adjustmed to the talisman as a workaround for this issue

Quickpunch

  • Increased effect duration from 6 seconds to 25 seconds
  • Reduced effect strength from 50% to 40%

Rhythmic Blows

As previously mentioned, this adjustmed was applied for fairness, as Gunners already had it since a long time

  • It now applies Glyph of the Swift on the first cast of the skill

Never Retreat (Passive)

A while ago, we changed Brawler passives to work for both front and side for Tank and for back and side for DPS. One of these passives was missed, so we are adjusting it now

  • The damage bonus provided by this passive now also works from the sides

Gunner

We are applying a few QoL adjustments to gunner to make some of their playstyles less painful to play with. Also, Gunner was one of the classes having a minimum burn cooldown of 68 seconds, so we are allowing them to reduce it further if they desire to through the new chests toprolls

Fire (Skill ADV)

  • The effect which reduces the cooldown of Dashing Reload has been moved away from Fire into the base class

Arcane Splash Damage

  • Increased orbs hitbox radius from 18 units to 50 units (effectively from 0.72m to 2m)

Modular Weapon System

  • Gunners are now able to pick a 10% Modular Weapon System CDR top-roll on Eclipse Armor

Bombardment, Obliteration & Balder's Vengeance

These adjustments are applied to make the new chest top roll more viable. This should not change the way gunner is played without it

  • Reduced base cooldown of these skills by 8 seconds

Mystic

This adjustment has been suggested a while ago. We apology for not being able to push it earlier. A simple QoL for thralls summoning

  • It is now possible to have both King Blob and Thrall of Wrath on the field at the same time

Ninja

For Ninja, we are going to apply an adjustment which was heavily requested in past. While it was initially rejected for the reason of balancing iframes between classes, we no longue pursue this.

Attunement

  • Casting the skill while having Lightning Spirit skill advanced will now provide a 1s duration iframe

Inner Harmony

As previously mentioned, this adjustmed was applied for fairness, as Gunners already had it since a long time

  • Now applies Glyph of the Swift on cast

Fire Avalanche

  • Now applies Glyph of the Swift on the first cast

Priest

We received a feedback some time ago about Shocking Implosion not hitting the target if the player is too close to their target, negatively impacting Priest players experience on small hitbox bosses or during mobbing in open world. We applied a small adjustment to Empowered Shocking Implosion to hit a bit closer to the player, while also not increasing the max range of the skill.

Shocking Implosion (Edict of Judgement)

  • The skill will now hit 3m closer to the caster

Slayer

Slayers also fell in the category of classes with minimum burn cooldown of 68 seconds. They will also be allowed to reduce it to 60 seconds if they desire to

In Cold Blood

  • Slayers are now able to pick a 10% In Cold Blood CDR top-roll on Eclipse Armor

Blade Master (Passive)

This adjustment is applied to make the new chest top roll more viable, without significantly changing other playstyles rotation

  • The cooldown reduction on hit effect for Unseahthe on a successful hit of Punishing Blow is increased from 5s to 6s

Sudden Draw

This adjustment is applied to counter the extra Unsheathe CDR mentioned above

  • Reduced cooldown reduction effect from 60% to 50%

Sorcerer

A while ago, we introduced the Bloodthirsty skill advanced to allow sorcerers to sync better with Adrenaline Rush, leaving Mysterious to a state where it was not worth using ever. For this reason, similarly to Gunner, Archer and Slayer, we are gonna allow sorcerer to reduce their burst cooldown from 65 seconds to 60 seconds by using Mysterious ADV

Mana Boost (Mysterious)

  • Now reduces the cooldown of Mana Boost by an additional 5%

Warrior

Long time ago, warrior players voiced their wish to be able to play their class without the use of Deadly Gamble, as they believe the burst makes the gameplay too easy. We are now allowing Warrior players to pick a new option for it through a chest toproll

Deadly Gamble

  • Warriors are now able to pick an alternate DG option top-roll on Eclipse Armor
    • Alternate DG: no longer provides cooldown reduction an extra edge effects. It instead provides a 60% increase in skill damage and 40 power
      • Note: it is possible that this playstyle may be lacking some QoL. If you are interested in playing with it, let us know what you think about it and if anything should be adjusted.

As previously mentioned, this adjustmed was applied for fairness, as Gunners already had it since a long time

  • Now applies Glyph of the Swift on cast

Valkyrie

Even before the drop in playerbase, Valkyrie did not look very strong, but we initally intended to see how the talismans rework would have affect the class. Despite still not knowing exactly how much behind the class is, we are not going to wait any longer. We will keep monitoring Valkyrie performance and apply further adjustments if required. If you believe the class would need some more than a simple damage buff, just let us know

Global

  • Increased overall damage by 2%

PvP Changes

Despite PvP not being the main focus of our playerbase at the moment, and truthfully declining already before the playerbase started getting lower, we decided to apply a few changes to allow our players to progress on the new PvE gear by also doing PvP.

PvP Battlegrounds

  • You will now be able to obtain Enchantment Scrolls Token by playing Shorehold, Champion's Arena and Kaia's Endless Fight
    • Thess tokens can be exchanged for various tier of Eclipse Gear Enchantment Scrolls

Civil Unrest

  • Updated rewards for ranking 1st, 2nd or 3rd in Civil Unrest to include the Tokens mentioned above

General Content Changes

Vanguard Requests

  • All vanguards have been updated to match the new content. The gold and credit rewards difference between each tier has been slightly reduced
  • Reduced cost of Talisman Tokens from 6k to 4k

Ace Dungeons

  • Ace Dungeons shop has been updated and their reputation was resetted

Daily Board Missions

  • Daily Board Missions quests have been updated, aswell as the shop. The reputation was resetted.
  • Greatly reduced cost of Underwears, Masks, Talisman Boxes and Small Elinu Tear

Guild BAMs

  • Updated rewards for ranking 1st, 2nd or 3rd on a Guild BAM competition.
    • This includes also PvP Guild BAMs

Other Changes

  • All old progression materials are no longer usable and can be sold to merchants
    • Note: While we initially planned to have the old progression materials dismantleable for goodies, the huge amount of materials obtainable through content was too excessive, leaving us no other choice than simply making them sellable for a small amount of in-game currency
  • Removed Valentine and Kelsaik event NPCs
  • Newly created characters no longer have 7-days consumables and reputation boosts in their inventories
    • This was done due them being useless since Agaia Club is free to everyone
  • Fixed some inconsistencies on jewelries stats tooltips
  • Fixed an issue where opening the "Smart Box: Dyable Dragon Hanbok (Untradable)" from the playtime event as a Human Female it was awarded the incorrect race item
  • Talisman boxes are now group loot
  • Changed Sovereign Gem icon to something slightly different to avoid confusion with Elder's Gem

Website Update

  • Our website has been update to include a lot more informations on player's Profile page
    • It will now be possible to see your characters informations, dungeons activity and friend list

Pending Changes

To not delay the patch any further, it was decided to postpone a couple of things to a different patch. These below will become WIP as soon as this patch gets released

  • Introduction of one raid dungeon for Low, Mid and High tier (Velik's Hold, Rift's Edge and Wonderholme)
  • Introduction of Sea of Honor as a special dungeon (Find Sea of Honor map in dungeons > clear it with your team to obtain special rewards)
  • Introduction of summer event (Beach Party & Coastal Battleground)

Known Issues

  • Achievements laurels are still bugged
  • The Champion's Arena PvP leaderboard is still not displayed in the PvP leaderboards list

Due to lack of internal informations or lack of ideas, some systems were not updated just yet.

  • The Island of Dawn rewards are not updated to match the new content
  • The Guardian Missions reputation shop is not updated

First of, thank you for still working on the project. 2nd maybe consider searching for another 1 or 2 devs at this point that can help with at least smaller stuff. But hey gl further on, dunno if this will bring me back though :)
